It’s been almost six years since Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton started dating. I remember hearing the news of this unlikely pair and being skeptical, but hey — time has proven these two lovebirds are meant for each other.
Now, it has been reported that Blake and Gwen have tied the knot in an intimate ceremony this past weekend!
The country superstar and the pop princess have been together since 2015.

These two met and fell in love while being judges on The Voice , which, in case you were wondering, is still on TV!
Much to fans delight, the pair got engaged in October of last year.

“Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020… And the rest of my life.. I love you. I heard a YES!” Blake wrote on Instagram at the time.
Fans hearts totally melted when they found out Blake sought permission from Gwen’s sons before asking her to marry him.

A source told Us Weely Blake wanted to make her boys feel included in the special decision.
“Blake told her boys that he wanted to propose and asked their permission,” the source told the news outlet at the time.

“Her family very much approves of him. He’s an amazing partner and a great extra dad to the boys. Gwen is ecstatic. The proposal was a surprise,” they added.
Of course, being the good country boy he is, Blake also asked Gwen’s father for permission.
“Blake had the ring custom-designed, and asked permission from her dad before asking Gwen,” the source shared with Us Weekly .
“It meant so much to Gwen that Blake was so traditional about it,” they added.

While it’s not the most commonly practiced tradition to “ask” for a daughter’s hand in marriage anymore, it’s so nice that it’s something both Gwen and Blake wanted!
The pair’s wedding, like many others, was pushed back due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

“Gwen knows she is blessed and wants to have the wedding as soon as social distancing guidelines are lifted,” a source told Us Weekly last year.
As fans may recall, Gwen began the formal process of annulling her previous marriage to her ex-husband in March 2019. However, the pandemic “changed Gwen’s feelings about getting the annulment and getting married,” a source told *Us Weekly* last year.
“It has made her realize that waiting for the annulment at this point is just futile because it could take years for the church tribunal to issue the decision.”
Now, it has been reported that the pair FINALLY tied the knot this past weekend in Oklahoma!
According to Page Six Blake and Gwen married on July 3rd in an intimate ceremony.
The news outlet shared shots of the ceremony space.
The wedding took place at Blake’s Oklahoma ranch, where sources previously revealed he built a chapel with the intention of marrying his bride-to-be there.
What wonderful news! Congrats to Blake and Gwen — I cannot wait to see more pics!
