Jeffree Star Cosmetics is revolutionary not only in it’s creative direction but in it’s insanely high quality.
Jeffree is known for giving brutally honest makeup reviews on his YouTube channel, which is tbh why people love him so much!
No one is safe from a Jeffree Star review.
In the past, Jeffree has dragged Victoria’s Secret, Too Faced, Beauty Blender and Kat Von D— just to name a few.
Oh, and of course , Kylie Cosmetics.
Who can forget when Kylie Cosmetics released a $360 brush roll that completely SHOOK the beauty community in a ~very~ bad way.
Jeffree’s criticisms included “basic looking,” “tinfoil,” and “Dollar Tree.”
Now when Jeffree reviews something, it either gets his signature stamp of approval or it doesn’t.
It’s a very serious thing for us, okay?
In fact, when you search Jeffree Star and ~review~ on YouTube, most of the titles include “Is It Jeffree Star Approved?”
It’s an ongoing trend for his channel, regardless of the brand, mmkay???

The whole thing looks pretty major and I’m super excited to see what Gaga is creating.

So when Jeffree Star replied to Gaga’s announcement with “But the question is…Will it be Jeffree Star Approved?” Jeffree’s *true* fans (me) understood what he was saying.
He was just keeping up with his brand and being himself????
Jeffree also said “Can’t wait to see the packaging and try everything on my channel!”
Jeffree’s fans (and me) were like yaaaas!!!!!
However, other people were PISSED OFF that Jeffree would even suggest it wouldn’t be fabulous.
One angry fan said “Sweetie this should be pre-approved.”
People wanted to make it clear they would be buying it regardless of Jeffree’s thoughts.
OKAY BUT I don’t know if I would buy it if it wasn’t Jeffree Star approved, tbh!!!! Am I trash for that????
People didn’t understand that Jeffree wasn’t throwing shade he was simply SAYING he was going to do a review.
He’s not judging Lady Gaga he’s judging her MAKEUP! GAWSH!
