So, you must know the good news by now: Tom Welling is returning as Clark Kent for the Arrowverse crossover that’s coming up on The CW.
But so is our favorite Lois Lane: Erica Durance.
You can, in fact, quote me on this:
Tom Welling and Erica Durance are the best Clark Kent and Lois Lane we’ve ever had.
So the fact that we will see them once more is nothing short of legendary.
Don’t get me wrong, Henry Cavill is doing a great job at it.
And Christopher Reeve is a legend still today.
But no Lois Lane stands out the way that Erica Durance managed to.
And now, the two are returning for a wild crossover event within the ‘Arrowverse.’
The Crisis on Infinite Earths is coming up, which is DC’s version of the multiverse that we’ve seen Marvel open up in films.
The mega crossover event will be featuring three different Supermans.
Tom Welling, Brandon Routh, and Tyler Hoechlin.
So there’s going to be a lot of power in one room.
Brandon Routh actually had his own Superman film, but it unfortunately didn’t do well at the box office.
But thankfully, CW audiences are much nicer and welcoming when compared to the DC film audiences.
Tom Welling hasn’t made any kind of celebration post yet.
But we are desperately waiting for him to give us a behind-the-scenes look into what’s going on.
So? What is the crossover about?
There was a massive catastrophe that resulted in a number of universes being destroyed.
So nothing good is coming.
Anti-Monitor is the villain behind it all.
So the heroes from different universes must unite to take the villain out for good.
In the comics, it is known for a very high death count.
So it could be very possible that we might be saying goodbye to some major heroes.
But hopefully, no one we love too much.
Like Tom Welling’s Superman. I don’t think any of us will enjoy watching him die.
Some people think that Oliver Queen is going to die.
Which means putting an end to an incredibly well thought out character.
I am not ready to see him go either.

Which means that Erica and Tom have already started filming for their parts.
And their reunion photo made me melt.
Erica Durance has been celebrating non stop on her Instagram and we could not be happier.
She’s the only reason we have a reunion photo to talk about!
She posted a selfie in honor of returning to her most famous character.

And then she gave us the reunion photo.
