Look, we know Chrissy Teigen is hilarious and like an amazing person, so when fans dragged Chrissy for a joke she made about her mom, I knew I had to do some investigating.
If you know anything about supermodel goddess Chrissy Teigen, it’s probably that she’s super close with her family.
More specifically, her mom Vilailuck “Pepper” Teigen.

Naturally, living with your mom can lead to some pretty hilarious hijinx.
Chrissy shared one of her mom’s funny habits on Twitter earlier this week.
“my mom treats her air pods like they’re disposable. buys a few a month. she says they would be easier to not lose if they had….a cord,” Chrissy joked to her nearly 12 million followers.
Unfortunately for Chrissy, a lot of people found the joke tasteless.
I see what she was saying, but I also see what these people are saying, ya know???
Chrissy clearly see’s both sides too, which is why she tweeted out an apology:
Queen of calling herself tone dead and icky.
She concluded, “I promise I will not always say the right thing in the right way but I also promise I hate disappointing or pissing you guys off. I’m sorry and I will do better to not be such an [expletive].”
