The Queen is meant to be one of the most polite and sophisticated ladies around — it’s kind of her whole brand. We don’t insult high-maintenance people but calling them a “queen” for nothing.
So when I saw HRH was trending on Twitter for being sassy while cutting a cake with a sword, I knew I had to do some investigating.

Think about it, in what social setting is cake cutting fun? At weddings? Nope — I’m afraid the bride will get cake smashed into her dress.
Birthdays? Nope — it’s pure chaos and it takes 30 minutes to slice 10 pieces of cake.

Well, it seems the Queen is also trying to make cake cutting even more stressful by using a SWORD to do it.
In a new video from a Royal event on Sunday, the Queen, alongside Kate Middleton and Duchess Camilla, was caught cutting a cake with sword and getting saucy.
When the Queen was so politely informed that there was a knife, she quipped: “I know there is. This is something that is more unusual.”
The Queen had no time to be questioned!
However, some people online felt the Queen was a bit too saucy.
“Bit rude and condescending, I feel like that woman felt rather embarrassed. Muggy,” wrote one fan.
“Are old ladies cutting cakes with sword a strong basis for a system of government?” echoed another.
“When Granny shoots you a death stare and snaps ‘what?’ In that voice you know you’ve done wrong,” joked another.
A lot of people also didn’t like her yelling “What” to the lady who was trying to assist her.
“Manners. It’s pardon not what…” echoed a different user.
However, a lot of people felt it was all in good fun and the Queen shouldn’t be taken so seriously.
It’s clear HRH is a total jokester, regardless of whether we we it or not!
People were loving the fact that the Queen was sticking up for herself.
When you’re a 95-years-old matriarch and one of the most powerful people in the world, you can do whatever you want.
The moment has gone completely viral — fans can’t get enough!

Is it too much to ask for my husband to look at me the way HRH looks at this dull sword she’s about to use to cut a cake?
