Alright folks, today we’re going through the Marvel timelines as it is now, from Captain America: The First Avenger , all the way to Avengers: Endgame .
This is for when you’re going to binge the entire thing.

‘Captain America: The First Avenger’.
Taking place in 1942, here we get our first-ever glimpse at both Steve Rogers (sometimes known as Captain America) and the Tesseract.
Sure, it’s kind of in 2011 for now, but most of it is during WW2.
‘Captain Marvel’.
Next, we flash forward all the way to 1995, where we get a whole bunch of “only 90s kids will understand this” references as well as our second captain, Captain Marvel.
‘Iron Man’.
Now, we’re in 2010 (quite the jump, I know) where we meet Tony Stark for the first time and we get a story that doesn’t revolve around space or Infinity stones, but one about real-world weaponry and power.
‘Iron Man 2’.
2011 now, we once again get a story fairly based in reality.
Tony Stark takes on Whiplash, a competing weapons manufacturer and perhaps scariest of all, the United States government.
‘The Incredible Hulk’.
We’re not quite at Mark Ruffalo yet, however, we’re really talking about this whole mysterious “Avengers” initiative.
In fact, ol’ Tony Stark makes an appearance in the end credits scene of this movie.
‘Thor’.
The Mighty Thor and his villainous brother Loki make their first appearance in this fantasy film set in the far off world of Asgard.
It’s pretty serious compared too… other Thor movies.
‘Avengers’.
Dun dun dun dunnnn, dun. Dun. Dun.
The first of the Joss Whedon Avengers , it will live on as one of the greatest superhero movies of all time, if not the greatest.
‘Iron Man 3’.
The final installment in the Iron Man franchise, this one had Tony Stark going up against a man who was scorned by him, the Mandarin and scariest of all, anxiety.
‘Thor: The Dark World’.
Yet another serious Thor movie, we get another look at one of the infinity stones in this one.
And also, some pretty cool dark elves. Oh, and Loki is up to his old tricks again.
‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’.
This awesome spy thriller of a movie is really what made Captain America what it is today.
And if I’m not mistaken, it’s the first movie the Russo brothers were involved in.
‘Guardians of the Galaxy’.
We’re now in 2014, and we’re beginning what some Marvel scholars like to call “the wacky Sci-Fi era”.
With a banging soundtrack and some awesome jokes, this one is light and fun.
‘Guardians of the Galaxy 2’.
Still wacky, still with a banging soundtrack, all this Guardians Of The Galaxy sequel did was add a few more guardians and give us one heck of a sad ending.
‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’.
The second and final installment in the Joss Whedon series of Avengers movies, this film gave us what some consider to be one of the best villains in the MCU.
‘Ant-Man’.
Here we get yet another “wacky Sci-Fi” film, however, this one is set on earth and stars America’s sweetheart himself, Paul Rudd.
Truly one of the best inclusions to the Marvel universe.
‘Captain America: Civil War’.
Not only did this have a couple of sweet scenes where our favorite heroes fought each other, but it included the introduction of this universe’s Spider-Man.
‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’.
This first Spider-Man film was good enough to rival the Raimi trilogy.
It had a fun, fast-talking new Spider-Man (who actually looked like he was in high school) and an awesome villain.
‘Doctor Strange’.
Now we’re 2016-2017, this is probably one of the trippiest movies in the franchise.
This film featured a lot of magic, mystery and practically no Harry Potter references. Unlike this segment of the article.
‘Black Panther’.
Not only was this the first-ever Marvel movie to feature a black superhero at the helm, but it was the first one to be nominated for an Academy Award.
Now, superhero movies are being taken a little more seriously.
‘Thor: Ragnarok’.
The culmination of the “wacky Sci-Fi era” this installment flipped the world of the Thor movies on its head by being funny, totally colorful, captivating and above all, super interesting.
‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’.
The second installment in the Ant-Man series, we were introduced to the Quantum Zone and the Wasp in this movie.
Which, of course, will come in to play much later.
‘Avengers: Infinity War’.
Not only was this the first of the Thanos movies, not only was this the first Russo brothers directed Avengers movie, but it was the first time we saw pretty much every Marvel hero come together.
‘Avengers: Endgame’.
The final installment in the Avengers series.
The last time we see a couple of our favorite heroes, and it was the culmination of ten years of cinema.
‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’.
The film takes off almost right where Endgame left off.
It sets up everything you need to know about Phase 4 of the MCU.
