When it comes to wedding attire, I think it’s safe to say there are a few things we all know to avoid, but the main one? Never wear a white dress — it’s just common sense. However, some people go so far as to say people should avoid anything sparkly, bold, or neon to avoid taking attention away from the bride, which is exactly what Candace Cameron Bure and her family are being accused of.
Candace Cameron Bure is a multitalented woman, to say the least.
The wife and mom is not only an accomplished actress but has her own clothing and boutique bible line with QVC, as well as several other successful business partnerships.
Honestly, it makes sense that Candace works in fashion because her outfits are always so put together and elegant.
She and her daughter Natasha could pass for sisters, easily .
While Candace is no stranger to controversy, her outfits rarely are the cause for upset.
However, people had a lot to say about the 45-year-old’s recent family photo from a wedding this past weekend.
Sharing a series of photos with her daughter, hubby Val and son Lev, Candace announced she was excited about the upcoming wedding season.
“Wedding season and I am HERE FOR IT!!! Mama gets another family pic (minus Maks who’s away at college.),” she captioned the sweet pics.
As you can see, both Natasha and Candace went with bright red dresses for the event.
“While I absolutely love the red, it’s my favorite color, it’s considered a no-no at weddings, along with white!” one follower wrote. Candace quickly replied to the fan, saying “Anything goes in L.A. There were 4 women wearing red dresses to the wedding.”
“no matter where you live, red at a wedding is wrong as is white,” responded a different user.
Things took a turn when one user said that wearing red to the wedding means you’ve been “intimate with the groom/ his mistress — YIKES!
I think it’s safe to say Candace and her daughter picked red because it’s festive and fun, not because they wanted to “upstage” the bride!
