Lily Allen’s lockdown puppy story is garnering criticism online. On her podcast Miss Me?, the singer recounted how one adorable pup went from cuddle buddy to chaos creator by munching on her family’s passports, derailing their lives. Let’s just say, this doggo didn’t make it to the ‘furever home’ stage.
Lily Allen is opening up about the time she decided to get a puppy during lockdown and quickly regretted it.

The pup decided to sink her teeth into something far more valuable than chew toys: Their passports. And not just one, but all of them.
In a shocking twist, Lily revealed that the puppy had mistaken her and her two daughters’ passports for food. And just like that, the once bright idea of getting a dog had been seriously dimmed and reconsidered.
“She ate all three of our passports, and they had our visas in,” Lily shared.
While there is never an ideal time to lose your passport while traveling, unfortunately, the timing really could not have been worse for Lily and her daughters, she explained. The incident turned into a logistical nightmare.
With the cost and hassle of replacing all those important documents during COVID-19.

The whole passport fiasco wasn’t just about money — it had real emotional consequences. Lily’s daughters couldn’t visit their father, Sam Cooper, in the UK for months.
“I couldn’t get them back to see their dad for, like, four months, five months because this f—-g dog had eaten the passports,” she explained.
Lily admitted that the puppy got into a lot of other things.

“She was a very badly behaved dog, and I really tried very hard with her, but it didn’t work out,” she shared.
Lily added: “The passports were the straw that broke the camel’s back, so to speak.”
Fans later uncovered an Instagram account for the puppy, Mary Harbour, showing husband David Harbour carrying the pup around New York.
The Instagram posts, though few, are a bittersweet reminder of the short-lived experience with Mary Harbour. “The final post, shared on May 6, 2021, featured the puppy with the caption, “Do I look cute ?”
In another photo, David can be seen carrying Mary in a bag on the subway, with the post’s caption reading: “Pupway with Dad. Quickest way to Brooklyn.”
At least Mary Harbour’s last moments with Lily and her family were captured before they decided they simply couldn’t handle the chaos any longer!
