I honestly don’t know which egg from McDonald’s I prefer.
I’ve enjoyed both the round egg and the folded one, and they both tasted like — well, McDonald’s, hee-hee. So I was really curious to see this video on TikTok.
In the video, a McDonald’s employee shows how he cooks each of the eggs in question.
And I have to admit I was surprised when I saw it. So let’s go over it. First things first, let’s look at the folded egg, okay?
Here’s the shocker I bet you didn’t expect.
The folded egg comes pre-cooked. Come again? Yes, that’s right. It comes in a package that the employee throws on the grill to be cooked. Oh, no! That doesn’t sound right.
Now on to the round egg.
I have some good news for you. The rounded egg is actually a raw egg that gets cracked into a mold and cooked on the grill. So as you have guessed, it gets cooked fresh every day. Oh, yay!
