According to its website , there are 23 flavors sloshing around inside your Dr Pepper, each one battling to try and dub itself top dog for your drinking pleasure.
These include: cola, cherry, licorice, amaretto, almond, vanilla, blackberry, apricot, blackberry, caramel, pepper, anise, sarsaparilla, ginger, molasses, lemon, plum, orange, nutmeg, cardamon, all spice, coriander juniper, birch and prickly ash.
But there are a few variations on the classic Dr Pepper taste you can try if you’re feeling adventurous.
In addition to diet editions, you can try Dr Pepper Cherry, Cherry Vanilla, and Caffeine-Free.
The company’s most outrageous version came in the form of Dr Pepper Dark Berry to celebrate the release of the blockbuster hit, Spider-Man: Far From Home . Judging from reviews online, people are loving this new flavor.
Now, the company has released a brand new Dr Pepper flavor like none that’s ever come before it: Birthday Cake.
Specifically, “Icing on the Cake”, but it amounts to the same thing, really: birthday cake in a can.

But before you go rushing out to your favorite soda supplier, you should know there’s a bit of a catch here.
Unfortunately, these fanciful drinks aren’t available for purchase. The only way you can actually get your hands on one is if you’re part of the Dr Pepper Pepper Pack, and even then you’re only sent the cans when it’s your birthday month.
Recipients also get party poppers, a “happy birthday” hat, a balloon, and a special note congratulating them on being a “die-hard Dr Pepper fan” and offering the gifts “to help commemorate your existence.” How thoughtful!
So, the only way you’ll likely get the chance to taste one of these drinks yourself is to join the club.
All you have to do is apply to join the Pepper Pack here . The application process is simply straight forward. All you have to do is explain why you love the drink so much, and then hope that the good people over at Dr. P. like your answer enough to make you a member.
Then, of course, it’s just a matter of waiting til it’s your birthday. Easy as pie! Or, should I say, cake?
