Home Alone 2 is one of the best Christmas movies of all time, which makes sense since it follows what is probably the best Christmas movie of all time.
However, the movie is in the news recently not for its amazing script, but for cutting Trump out of his scene.

Before he was president, Donald Trump was a major businessman, and even appeared on television and in movies.
He had his own show, was mentioned in many other shows (like Friends and Gossip Girl ), and even appeared in Home Alone 2 !
It’s one of his greatest honors, apparently.
“A lot of people mention it every year, especially around Christmas.”
“They say — especially young kids — they say, ‘I just saw you on the movie.’ They don’t see me on television as they do in the movie. But it’s been a good movie and I was a little younger, to put it mildly. And it was an honor to do it.”

But he can’t really boast too much about it his year, as it was cut by CBC.
When asked by ComicBook.com why he was cut, CBC replied:
“As is often the case with features adapted for television, Home Alone 2 was edited to allow for commercial time within the format.”
Either way, people on Twitter celebrated.
