Game of Thrones is coming to an end this year. Finally, everyone will know who ends up on the Iron Throne — and who dies getting there.
So right before the final season starts is probably a bad time for spoilers to leak, right?
Well, Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa, may have accidentally let something slip. Let’s check it out.
The whole cast is on spoiler lockdown.
They’re all carrying around some of entertainment’s biggest secrets, so it’s no wonder that they’ve been super tight-lipped.
Even one hint could send avid fans on a theory-unraveling adventure that could reveal way more than intended.
In fact, Maisie Williams made a joke about it recently

She appeared on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon on April Fool’s Day, and boy did they come up with the best prank.
Maisie “let slip” that she found her character, Arya, dies in the final season.
The prank was crazy believable

Maisie sold her own horror at letting a spoiler that big slip that you genuinely feel for her.
Thankfully, she and Jimmy set the record straight. But her “reaction” is indicative of how seriously the cast takes the no-spoiler policy.
Sophie joined Maisie on “Good Morning America”.

The two on-screen sisters and off-screen best friends handled the interview and questions with ease. After all, they’ve been doing this for 10 years!
They were asked if they took anything from set
Of course, they both did.
Maisie took Arya’s coin from the early seasons of the show, as well as one of Arya’s coats from the final season.
The coat isn’t really wearable, though, because it’s still covered in mud and fake blood!
Sophie stole two things, as well

The first thing she admitted to was stealing Sansa’s corset.
“I took my corset. Which I’m never going to wear, because I hate it so much. But it’s the only thing that stayed with me throughout the whole show.”
She also took something else…
And that something is the key to everything.
Before she left the set for the last time, Sophie snagged a much more plot-relevant item to keep than her corset: a scroll.
She keeps it with her all the time

“I took a scroll that was in one of the last episodes. It’s, like, a huge spoiler and I’ve just been carrying it around in my wallet.”
Can you imagine just carrying around the answers that some viewers have waited 8 years for?
What could the scroll say?
Observant viewers know that scrolls play a large narrative part in Game of Thrones.
Since the size of the scroll can fit into Sophie’s wallet, it can’t be a letter. But it could be a note!
Sophie has the spoilers tucked away, and so does another notable name

Sophie is engaged to Joe Jonas, who is a big fan of Game of Thrones.
He’s such a fan that he name-dropped the show in the Jonas Brothers’ latest song, Cool.
And he knows things.
Because he was there!

No snooping is necessary for Joe. He was on set to get the tea!
“He was on set for most of it, so he kind of figured it out. And then he had to sign an NDA.”
HBO took his presence there seriously
Sophie said, “He had to have, like, fully photo approval on set. His camera was covered up, everything.”
Imagine it being your job to tell Joe Jonas what he can and can’t take pictures of. That’s wild.
You won’t get any secrets out of him

Even though he’s bad at keeping secrets.
“He’s terrible. So I don’t know how that one’s going to work out.”
He and Sophie only have to keep her secrets for just a little big longer!
Sophie and Maisie have some thoughts on the final season

When asked what they think fans will think, Maisie said:
“I don’t know if it’s what people are expecting.” Given the massive phenomenon that is Game of Thrones, surprising audiences is going to be a challenge.
Sophie summed it up perfectly

“I think people…some people will be satisfied, and others, not so much.”
You can tell these two are best friends, because they said “not so much” at the same time.
So, there you go. Who’s ready to scan every episode for a scroll, desperately trying to figure out its huge importance??? I know I am!
