When it comes to weddings, many people choose to have no children there. Some individuals believe that children can totally ruin a wedding.
Despite having kids in their family that they know and love, some people want their day to be child-free and easy. Plus, some weddings run pretty late into the evening , too. No parent wants to deal with kids who had no sleep the night before.

While some may understand why couples do not want to have kids at their wedding, others get angry and offended when their kids are not invited to a wedding.
Recently, one Twitter user sparked a debate online about weddings and children when they shared their opinions on the matter.
Alice shared online that she was going to get “slated” for their opinion but, shared that people are “perfectly entitled” to request that no children attend their wedding.
Many people online happened to agree with Alice on her view.
Many online pointed out that weddings are planned and given notice so far in advance, it’s really impossible for someone to not find a babysitter or a family member to watch their kids.
Others shared that they have seen their own family members and how they act at social events.
Another Twitter user shared that being at social events with their own nieces and nephews clearly shows and proves that they can not act accordingly.
One person argued that couples get a bad rep when they say no kids.
Missy shared that if someone doesn’t want kids at their wedding, it doesn’t make them anti-children. There are just some places kids shouldn’t come or be welcome, and weddings are oftentimes one of those places.
Many others felt like kids would just be bored at a wedding.
Another Twitter user shared that so often, kids are bored out of their minds at weddings. They get pretty tired listening to speeches and sitting through the ceremony. Plus, parents deserve a night away from their kids sometimes.
However, some people argued that having kids at your wedding can be special.
One person said that she remembers having a kid-free wedding and some very important people did not attend due to this. Now, having kids of their own, they wish they did things differently.
Others said to look at it from another perspective.
