Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans and husband David Eason have been involved in a lengthy custody battle over the past two months for their children Jace, Kaiser, and Ensley, who are currently in the custody of Evans’ mother, Barbara Evans.
TMZ has obtained audio of a 911 call made by Eason, claiming that his mother-in-law had locked their 2 year old daughter Ensley inside of a bedroom.
Evans and Eason lost custody of their children in May.

This was after Eason allegedly shot and killed the family’s dog, Nugget, in early May. Evans shared an Instagram post on the subject, with the caption, “Nugget… I’m crying everyday. I love you so much and I’m so sorry. I’m speechless. You were my side kick and knew the moment I felt bad and would cuddle with me.”
In now-deleted posts on his own Instagram, Eason explained his actions.

Eason shared a video showing the event, in which toddler Ensley appears to be playing with the dog before being snapped at. Eason said , “I dont give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face… whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I don’t put up with that [expletive] at all.”
Eason also shared this image of Ensley’s face after the incident.

The photo shows a red mark on Ensley’s cheek, but no break in skin. Eason continued by saying, “I’m all about protecting my family, it is my life’s mission. Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me. You can hate me all you want but this isn’t the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively. The only person that can judge weather or not a animal is a danger to MY CHILD is ME.”
Eason and Evans lost custody of their children shortly after this incident.

Evans’ son from a previous relationship, Kaiser, is currently in the custody of his paternal grandmother, while Ensley and Jace have been placed in the care of Evans’ mother.
The couple has been fighting for custody of their children in multiple court appearances.

“During this difficult time, I’m focused on getting Kaiser back and cooperating with my legal team on the next steps to getting my children back,” Evans said in a statement to PEOPLE .
Recent audio recordings reveal that Eason had called 911 on Evans’ mother, claiming their 2 year old daughter had been locked in a bedroom.

According to TMZ , Eason claimed that Evans’ mother had locked Ensley in a bedroom so that she could take a shower, but was unable to open the door afterwards.
Eason claims that their 9 year old son Jace was the one who informed him of this event.

Eason also asked the dispatch operator to file a report with Child Protective Services, but was told he would have to file the report himself independently.
Whether or not Eason followed up on making a report is unknown.

Sources tell TMZ that Evans’ mother was eventually able to get the door open on her own.
TMZ also reports that Evans appears to have made a separate 911 call asking for a welfare check to be conducted at her mother’s house after hearing yelling and screaming in the background of a phone call she had made previously.
