Dakota Johnson comes from a line of famous people, including her grandmother Tippi Hedren, who really found her foot in fame in Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds .
She is known, even more so maybe, for the fact that she has always been in possession of very large, and very dangerous cats!
Tiger King should have been based off her, clearly!
Dakota Johnson let slip some really revealing things about her grandmother Tippi Hedren who rose to fame thanks to her movie *The Birds*.
She apparently, currently keeps “13 or 14 lions and tigers” at her home, and that is actually the lowest that it has been for her!
Johnson appeared on *The Graham Norton Show* recently and opened up about her childhood, and what it was like to be around big cats.

Which, as gorgeous as lions and tigers are, I truly can’t imagine living with one, much less over a dozen.
It sounds pretty scary!
“She has 13 or 14 lions and tigers,” Johnson said. “There used to be 60 cats, but now there’re just a couple.”

Graham Norton showed a famous photo of
“It is what it is, it’s a tiger jumping through your kitchen window,” he said.
“It is what it is,” Johnson replied, in such a deadpan tone that Graham got even more of a kick out of it.
“By the time I was born they were all in huge compounds and it was a lot safer and it wasn’t as totally psycho as it was when they first started,” she said.
I guess Tippi was the original Tiger King.
