A lot of stories about maintenance workers misusing access to people’s homes have been going around. A TikTok video has gone viral on social media, where a maintenance guy was seen being creepy instead of working.
Hidden Camera Shows Maintenance Guy Creeping In Tenants Bedroom
The TikTok user with account @xxmou4 uploaded a video from their hidden camera which has gone viral. The video showed a maintenance worker walking casually into their bedroom and going through their things. The first video the Tiktoker uploaded was a repair request placed on November 29th, 2022.

He Was Supposed to Fix A Water Leak
The request was for a water leak under the kitchen sink and the replacement of the lights above the sink. The second clip was from the Google Nest Indoor home camera system. The video showed the maintenance guy going through the tenant’s drawers.
The Tenant Did Not Authorize Access To Other Places In Their Apartment
After spotting the camera, the worker checked if it was plugged in. Then stayed around the cat’s playground in the bedroom before leaving. The video ended with a photographed image of the maintenance receipt the worker left. He wrote the sink was fixed and he also went to the bathroom to fix a slow-running problem. However, the tenant wrote they did not authorize access to other parts of their house.
Criminal Charges Against Maintenance Workers
There have been some criminal charges against maintenance workers. In October 2022, CBS Pittsburgh gave a report. An employee of a Monroeville apartment complex stole items from a tenant’s unit. The items were worth thousands of dollars.
A Similar Incident
That same day, there was another report of a maintenance worker in Spokane, Wash. The worker was accused of assaulting a woman who later died of natural causes. The worker pleaded guilty to burglary. He allegedly used his master key to access her apartment without her permission. Two months before that, in Englewood, NJ, a maintenance worker was charged with r****g a child.
TikTok User Captures A Wendy’s Employee Eating Fries From Fryer
It is mostly believed that fast food joints are cleaner than most restaurants. However, a Tiktoker does not agree with that. A clip was uploaded by the account @alliwalton on TikTok. The video showed Wendy’s employee standing at the frying station. Someone was recording while a young woman was watching the employee.
The Content Creator Was Concerned About Hygiene
The Wendy’s employee then picked out a french fry from the basket and tasted it. After doing that, they looked in the direction of the person recording. The young woman then looked away from Wendy’s employee concerned about their hygiene.
Tiktokers Reaction To The Video Of The Wendy’s Employee
A lot of TikTokers did not have the same reaction the Tiktoker had in the video. Most of them stated that what the employee did was not a big deal. Some pointed out that probably Alli has not worked in food service.
Someone In The Comments Noted It Was Normal Among Workers
A user wrote that picking at food while working was a daily thing. Also if Alli was working there, the frosty machine would be their beer bong. Others shared that there was barely time for the workers to eat. Therefore, all food workers always grab a bite.
