You know what? I never really thought about the fact that Cracker Barrel never had an alcohol menu. Maybe I was too concerned with checking out what the little general store had to offer, and maybe also because I was like 12 and not of drinking age.
Anyways, there’s good news for those who have been craving a mimosa with their buttermilk biscuits and gravy.
Good news, friends—Cracker Barrel will *finally* be selling alcohol on its menu.

Cracker Barrel’s CEO, Sandra B. Cochran, made the statement, which was reported by Nation’s Restaurant News .
“The past several months have presented unprecedented challenges for Cracker Barrel, the industry and our country,” Cochran said.

At the end of May, the company saw a 41.7% decline in same-store sales.
The company is using this as an opportunity to accelerate programs that it was already testing before the pandemic hit, and a major part of that was their wine and beer menu.

The menu is currently in 20 restaurants across the country and, according to Delish , they will be offering two tasty mimosas, orange and strawberry, to accompany your Sunrise Sampler.
They’re also adding a few new items, such as chicken pot pie and Saturday fried pork chops.

Looks like Cracker Barrel may be the new brunch spot to go!
