What if you could buy a unique home that seems stuck in a time-warp? That’s exactly what this one couple did when they settled upon a property in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
This special place is really something. Its unusual features take you right back to the 1970s . And once the couple posted pictures of their find, people online went crazy for it.
It’s easy to see why this property is getting such love online.

It’s pretty impressive from the outside. The fact that it’s in the woods adds to the mystique of it all. Wouldn’t you want an escape like this of your own?
Now, as grand as it looks from the outside, wait until you step foot indoors.
You’re going to be transported into the land of the ’70s, ha, ha! If this purple carpet doesn’t invoke that feeling for you, I don’t know what would.
Can we pause for a second to talk about this fireplace?
Oh my goodness, I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like it anywhere else. The couple fell in love with the ’70s vibe of this place so much so that they did a groovy photoshoot inside of it.
Here’s a full look at that purple room.

Isn’t it something or what? I can’t get over those high ceilings. Wow! It isn’t just a house — it’s an incredible one. The views alone would be the selling point for me.
The purple carpet runs throughout the house and even up some walls, ha, ha.

Imagine vacuuming that? Oh, wait — this is exactly what it would look like. Unfortunately, don’t get too used to seeing it because the couple plans to rip it out when they renovate the place.
Then there’s this incredible staircase. I feel quite dizzy just looking at it.
I hope the Jacksons keep the carpet on it because I could see myself tumbling down to my death otherwise. So it might be a slight hazard for their small kiddos.
If you thought the carpet saga ended with the purple room, you would be wrong.
There are plenty of other carpets around the whole house. There’s even a matching turquoise carpet in this kitchen that fits right in with the light fixture.
Check out this interesting space here.

This blue carpet is making me feel like I’m sea bound or something like that. There’s plenty of room here to have a huge party, huh? I bet their guests would love to hang out in this place.
Here’s one of the funky bedrooms in this grand house.

I think the couple might get rid of this carpet, too. Perhaps it would be a good thing because it makes me feel like I’m going to get sucked into another dimension or something like that.
Wait until you get a load of this bathroom here.
I can honestly say I’ve never seen a bathtub as retro as this one. Not only that, but there’s a red carpet in the whole space and no shower curtain anywhere either.
Wow, have you seen a place as unique as this one before?
I can’t say that I have. This couple actually bought this entire property for about $160,000, a total bargain if you asked me. They plan to live in it part-time and then rent it out as an Airbnb. Would you stay here?
