Cosplaying is one of my favorite things to do. The whole process of deciding on a character and working to put together an outfit is exciting and very rewarding. It’s a way that many people come out of their shells, because they find it easier to be a character than themselves.
Typically you see younger people dominating the cosplay world, but recently it has been brought to our attention that there is a hardcore cosplaying mom on the scene.

Solange is our new favorite cosplayer. She’s from Brazil and also goes by Tia Sol, which means “Aunty Sun.”
It started when a friend told her she wasn’t brave enough to dress up.
She immediately picked a character and got her costume made.
She’s still not slowing down, and the cosplay world loves her!
She attends every event in her city as a different character.
Her next character will be ready in December, and she’s playing Granny Juju from Jorel’s Brother.
We can’t wait!
