Weekdays can be tough. Going through that same daily routine gets a little bit stale after a while (especially when you get closer to Friday ).
That’s why we need things to keep us sharp. A bunch of entertaining pictures will work wonders. Pictures that require a bit more attention than usual. Pictures like the ones in this list. How handy is that?
“Someone’s box on the road.”
Don’t you hate it when you leave a box in the middle of the road? Well, I’m sure that it doesn’t happen that often, but still.
Hopefully it’s empty, because it looks like it’s in a spot where it could get run over easily.
“The World’s Largest Pancake Griddle.”
To be honest, I think the world’s largest pancake would be a lot more interesting to look at than just the griddle. But, like, I can still really appreciate this.
After all, just imagining the pancake that could be made on that thing is kind of everything.
“I wasn’t thinking and set my iced coffee on a new drumhead, quickly making a stark ice circle.”
This is as good a reminder as any to be careful where you leave things. I know not everyone has to handle delicate musical instruments on a daily basis, but you probably have plenty of other stuff you wouldn’t want to get ice rings on.
Like an expensive, antique table, maybe?
“My car’s windshield crack tried to set my dash on fire.”
That little dark spot is actually a burn mark. I don’t know about you, but if I saw this on my own car, I’d probably take it as a sign to get the whole windshield replaced. Before it gets worse and stuff.
“This package of provolone cheese actually contained cheddar cheese.”
You know when you pick something up at the store thinking it’s one thing, only to take it home and realize that it’s actually a different thing? This is kind of like that, but also kind of the opposite of that. So confusing.
“Some of the colors on my jawbreaker dissolve faster than others.”
It’s so funny how color dye works like that. Some colors run quickly, while others run a lot slower. I dunno, I just think the whole thing is super neat.
Even if it is kind of gross that this person took their jawbreaker out of their mouth just to snap a picture.
“A bee swarm rolled into our backyard this afternoon and have now taken up residence in one of our trees.”
There are much worse places for a bee swarm to decide to stay (like inside your house). But this is definitely a good reminder to look out when you walk under trees. You never know where surprise bees could be hanging around.
“4 screws being used for one toilet paper holder. And 2 of them are rusty.”
I feel like you have to be pretty bored while on the toilet to notice something like this. Like, of all the things to look at in a bathroom. but to each their own, I guess.
“Squirrels’ nails are sharp enough to scratch through my fence’s anodizing.”
One squirrel probably wouldn’t do this. But multiple squirrels over a long period of time definitely would. Too bad, too; this fence probably looked really nice when it was all new and shiny.
“The string to hook my loofah came undone and looks like human hair.”
Could you imagine if it was actual human hair, though? That would be kind of gross (especially since it wouldn’t be your own hair). Finding hair where you don’t expect it is a really unfun experience.

But, based on the kinds of things on the shelves (like Jammie Dodgers and beans), this seems a lot more strictly British than European.

I feel like, at this point, you just pick the one you like the best and stick with it. I mean, it’s not like any of them are going to tell your future anyway (sorry if I just burst your bubble).
“Saw this at my local grocery store. Wasn’t there to buy potatoes but I had to pick this up.”
Yeah, I’d probably have no choice but to buy this sweet potato if I saw it at the grocery store, too. After all, the funny shape that it makes (almost swan-like, but with a strange head) makes it too cool to pass up.
“Found a Jigglypuff printed inside a USB.”
I bet Jigglypuff is the one Pokemon no one would’ve expected to find on the inside of a USB. Pikachu? Sure. Charizard? Mewtwo? Those would also be very obvious choices. But Jigglypuff? Seems a lot more random.
“I accidentally cooked some 19 year old Kraft Dinner (left).”

I feel like we all have an old package of something in our cupboards we should probably get rid of (and not eat!).
“This fox lying on leaves.”
This fox (top center of the picture) really got up one morning and decided to sit in the perfect camouflage. Imagine being a kid and deciding to jump in those leaves, only to get the scare of your life as the fox runs out of there. That would be so wild.
“Shoebox was missing a label; one of the employees drew it on.”
I’d definitely never expect to find a random, hand-drawn label in a shoe store. But I guess there are stranger things out there.
I wonder if this would make someone more or less likely to buy this specific pair of shoes…
“They used Thor for the example ID.”
I mean, there’s no reason not to use Thor as a fake, example ID. But I do find it kind of funny how they put in so many details to make it look realistic. Like his Ohio address, his birthday (which is not the same as Chris Hemsworth’s), and the fact that it already expired, like, a year and a half ago.
“The door opens towards the food.”
This almost feels like the setup to a riddle. How do you get the food without knocking it over? Climb through a window to get outside? Go through the back door? Just open this screen and hope for the best?
