Ryan Reynolds Proved He's Awesome And Answered A Bunch Of Questions From Children At The SickKids Hospital

It can be hard during these difficult times to get out and see people, even if they're people you really want to see. Luckily, many of us have video calling to make life easier in that respect — including celebrities.

Information about the coronavirus pandemic is rapidly changing and Diply is committed to providing the most recent data as it becomes available. Some of the information in this story may have changed since publication, and we encourage readers to use online resources from CDC and WHO to stay up to date on the latest information surrounding COVID-19.

Ryan Reynolds used his video calling abilities to connect with some very special fans.

Ryan Reynolds dropped in via video call to answer some questions at The Hospital for Sick Children, known as SickKids in Toronto, where the kids got to ask him what his favorite movie he's made is, or what his favorite food is.

“I have a few if that is okay,” Reynolds said about his favorite movie. “I really love Detective Pikachu, partly because my kids love it.”

"Our friend Ryan Reynolds @vancityreynolds surprised SickKids patients this afternoon with a virtual visit," the hospital shared on Instagram.

"Ryan joined @sickkidstoronto’s daily call-in show, which is broadcast to all patient rooms across the hospital," they wrote alongside the footage of the video call where Ryan showed off the actual Pikachu used in the film.

The hospital brought up Ryan's past charitable adventures, like when he auctioned off his ugly Christmas sweater.

"Ryan chatted with patients about Pikachu, having three young daughters, his favourite food (thin-crust pizza) and his ugly Christmas sweater—which helped raise over $300K for SickKids in January. "

"Thank you, Ryan, for an afternoon we will never forget!"

What an amazing move from Ryan that I'm sure made these kids' days brighter when they definitely need it!
