Brow trends have really been taking shape (no pun intended tehe). Before, people didn’t really pay attention to their brows, but in recent years, they’ve been a main focus of makeup routines around the world.
Carved brows are the next brow trend hitting The ‘Gram.
This funky eye makeup look features the carved eyebrow trend.
There’s no formal tutorial on eyebrow carving, but it looks like the makeup artist essentially traces the natural arch and tail of her brows parallel to them with eyeshadow, or eyeliner maybe.
The effect leaves a “carved” illusion on the eyes and eyebrows.
It’s pretty funky!
Following Instagrammer @alexalink’s suit, others are trying it out themselves.
It almost reminds me of something David Bowie might do.
They’re getting colorful with the trend, too.
It’s a really cool effect that seems to frame the face even more than just coloring in eyebrows does!
