Sadly, fans just received the news that the upcoming eighth season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine will be the last.

Isn’t that insane? It’s been almost 10 years of hilarious hijinx with Ray and the gang in Brooklyn, New York.
Now, the series is preparing to come to an end, which is not cool, cool, cool, cool, cool with me!
According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, *Brooklyn Nine-Nine* will wrap in the 2021 – 2022 broadcast season.
This means NBC has chosen to hold back the final season in hopes of giving the show a proper send-off.
In a statement released by the show’s creator Dan Goor, fans got the emotional news.
He captioned the post: “The way I see it, if this is to be our last ride then let us go out in a blaze of glory.”
