Apparently, this situation isn’t just the case with your own dog.
It seems to be a common issue among pet owners. They drag their pet outside, only to wait and wait, and nothing happens. Their dog is shaking and unwilling to do their business.
Why is that?
It’s simply because the dog is used to doing their business on the grass. Now that they see snow, they’re confused and cold. But as it turns out, you can do something about this issue.
The Animal Welfare Association recently posted a clever picture on their Facebook page that gives dog owners a quick solution.

The idea is so simple and really easy to do.
Cover a section of the grass on your lawn or in your backyard with a sheet of plywood and voilà — no more snow. Isn’t this such a brilliant idea or what?
Wow, I would never have thought of doing that, ha, ha.
I bet your dog is going to really appreciate it. Now, the little guy or gal will have an easier time doing their stuff outside in the cold.
And the best part is you won’t have to bother with shoveling any snow.
Yippee for that! It’s going to save you some precious time. Now going outside with your dog won’t be such a chore after all. What do you say about that?

Other people suggested that instead of plywood, you can also use tarps.
They’re much easier to fold up or pull up. I think that’s another great idea. Either way, your pooch should be able to go a lot more freely now.
