They better be careful here, tackling mental health in this day and age is a hefty task. It needs to be done with a lot of grace… Let’s see if they can do it!

It’s a great show that got great ratings so obviously, season 2 was inevitable.
Okay, going to kick into some spoilers here, so if you haven’t watched the show watch it and come back.
Season 1 was full of twists and turns that no one was really prepared for.
By the end of season 1, David Budd is framed for murder.
After the MP he’s supposed to be guarding dies in a bombing.
Now, in Season 2, he’s gotta go up against a corrupt police force in order to try and clear his name.
Creator Jed Mercurio has been in talks about a second season for some time…
But with a cliffhanger like that, how are you not going to renew the show for a second series, BBC One ?
But here’s what to expect, according to the series creator:
“Where will this man be, in terms of his mental health, in terms of his wife and children, in terms of his career? He’s not going to sit back and retire, and he’s not going to pick a normal job. He’s going to be engaged in something interesting.”
