I’m always so amazed by the strange, bizarre things people just happen to find. If it weren’t for the fact that they took pictures, you probably wouldn’t believe that they’re real.
Thankfully, the people who snapped these shots thought ahead. They did us all a favor by posting them to Reddit for the world to see. And I, for one, am so grateful.
“Look how creepy this snowman looks.”
This snowman looks like Olaf’s sadder cousin or something. Somebody did their best, but they added eyes and a carrot nose that was way too big for this thing’s face, and it’s honestly kind of upsetting.
“Creepy Santa house.”
This would probably be fine if it weren’t for the fact that Santa’s eyes glow. They make him look possessed, which is a really weird look for such a joyous and cheerful holiday. Not the vibe we’re looking for.
“Christmas gift ideas for your fur babies!”
I guess this is an instance of art imitating life? Or maybe of life imitating art? The bottom line is, this cat must make that face a lot, and the pillow is perfect! I mean, purr-fect.
“Blockbuster employee inspecting returned DVDs (2020).”
Apparently, this Blockbuster is in Bend, Oregon. It’s nice to know at least one of these iconic stores still exists, even if seeing one in the 2020s is a little… odd. Not the thing I thought we’d be bringing with us to the new decade.
“My pumpkin 29 days after Halloween.”
This pumpkin looks like it’s in surprisingly good shape. Though, if you were to poke it with a stick, it would probably start to fall apart. Good thing it’s out in the woods instead of still on this person’s front porch.
“I need this in my life. From Japan.”
Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, you have to agree that this is one super awesome decoration. Japan really said, “let’s take Godzilla, but make him way more festive.” And it works so well!
“How big pet goldfish can get when released into the wild.”
I heard that it’s actually a really bad idea to flush a goldfish down the toilet. They get into waterways and take food from native species. Not to mention the fact that they get all big and weird-looking.
“I waited 1/2 an hour and this simply isn’t true.”
Yeah, the crackers you put out when you’re entertaining guests are… actually pretty boring on their own. I guess that’s why cheese exists.
I also just need to say that this joke is, like, top tier.
“Harvest time in Ontario (or the apocalypse!).”
There are all sorts of pretty colors among the trees and plants during fall. But when all those leaves and flowers fall off their plants, things start to look… sad. Dead and sad. Can’t wait for spring!
“My uncle’s Xmas tree…. he’s an idiot.”
This tree is way too big for that house. In fact, you’d probably have to live in a $10 million mansion in order to justify having a tree that big.
Next time, think about getting one a little smaller.
Sometimes you just have to stop and stare at yourself.
I don’t know what it is about this picture that’s so weird, but it is? Could it be the fact that someone built Winnie the Pooh out of LEGO, or the fact that he’s now staring himself down in the mirror?
“I accidentally created VANTABLACK when I forgot about my pizza…”
This is the most burnt pizza I’ve ever seen. It’s, like, blacker than a windowless room in the middle of the night. It’s blacker than my soul, too, and that’s saying a lot.
“Found this on the bathroom floor of my school.”
I guess this is one way to pass time while in the bathroom… though, I can probably say that I wouldn’t want to play. Even if the floor does make the perfect chess board.
“These weird backpacks at IKEA told me to bring them Solo.”
Yeah, I’m not sure why IKEA thought it was a good idea to start selling backpacks that look suspiciously like Jabba the Hutt. Though, they probably didn’t put two and two together in the design room.

Oh man, you can tell that some places are getting desperate during this labor shortage. If they’re even willing to hire freaky people, they ain’t doing well. It’s what I would call a lose-lose situation, that’s for sure.
Choose your weapon wisely.
They say the pen is mightier than the sword. So is the sword made of a paperclip mightier than the pen? Is this, like, a pen, sword, paperclip situation (like rock, paper, scissors, but worse somehow)?
“Rainbow Shadow thing on my air trip today.”
This is the kind of thing that would probably freak me out while I was in the middle of a flight. You can probably tell that I don’t travel by air all that much.

I would be asking how that dog got all the way up there, but I think it’s probably better that I just accept this as fact. After all, I’m not the one who has to get that pup down.

Why are these dogs in a box? I couldn’t say. But what I can say is that, while E.T. may be around the same size as these chihuahuas, he definitely… isn’t one. Still looks like he’s vibing, though.
