Dawid Planeta is a Polish artist who is using his talent to understand and fight his depression. He creates a world where a small man with a single light faces giant animals and creatures in the jungle. The animals represent Dawid’s fears and weaknesses — but no matter how small he may feel, he still faces them head on.
All the tools and weapons you need to fight your mental illness are within you.

“That is all I want in life: for this pain to seem purposeful.” – Elizabeth Wurtzel

When you see depression waiting for you in the fog, be a light that refuses to burn out.

“I’ll never forget how the depression and loneliness felt good and bad at the same time. Still does.” – Henry Rollins

You’re stronger than you think you are, especially on your worst days.
