Who here is obsessed with chips ? Aha! That would be me. Besides popcorn , chips are one of my favorite snacks.
But truth be told, now that I’m older I can’t eat them all the time. My waistline wouldn’t be all too happy about that, ha, ha! So is there a healthier way to make chips? You betcha. Get a load of this idea.
Have I told you how much I love avocados?

Honestly, I eat at least one per week, if not more. I pretty much call myself the queen of guac. That’s right. Everyone who knows me knows that fact. That’s another obsession of mine.
I’ve also been trying to eat less bread and carbs in general.

So is there a way to combine my love of avocados and chips into one? Well, now there is, thanks to this genius recipe I found on TikTok.
As I found out, people are making chips out of avocados.
OMG, what? How did I not know about this? What the heck? I feel like I’ve been living under a rock or something like that. This, I’ve got to see ASAP.
So here’s what you do.

You cut your avocado lengthwise and take out the pit. And make sure it is very ripe, alright? And then you mash it up like you would do when making guacamole. That sounds easy enough, right?
Then you crack an egg into the mixture.

Next, add some parmesan cheese and mix well.
Oh wow! Yum! Doesn’t that sound good already, huh? I can’t wait to see how this turns out, and I bet you are too.
Next, you scoop about a tablespoon of the mixture onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
And you flatten it out. Then you can add any kind of seasoning you like. This lady recommended the “Everything But The Bagel” seasoning mix. That does sound delicious.
And this is how they turn out once you finish baking them.

Oh my! I like the look of that, alright. I think this could taste really good. And the best part is that 10 chips have 87 calories, 6.1 grams of protein, and 0.8 net carbs.
I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty excited to try making them now.

And judging from the comments this video got, so are a lot of folks out there. People who follow the keto diet or need to limit their carbs would love this idea.
So, a moment of truth — would you try this recipe out?
If you want my opinion, I would say, why not? You only need a total of four ingredients to make this, and chances are it will taste delicious. Who knows, it could even become one of your favorite snacks.
