Well finally! In an age where kids are spending more time on the internet than adults, they really are going to be the generation that needs this skill more than any other.
They’re going to be bombarded with so much information all the time they need to be able to tell what’s real and what’s fake.

So Angelina Jolie has decided she wants to educate an entire generation about “fake news”
And she’s going to do it with the help of the BBC!
She and the British network have come together to produce BBC My World , a series that tells kids about current events.
The show will help them make up their own minds about what is going on.
The show will be half an hour, air weekly and most importantly, will have BBC’s final say when it comes to the editorials.
So no one person can put their own opinions on it.
Jolie said about the show…
In a prepared statement :
“As a parent, I am happy to be able to give my support to a program that aims to help children learn more about the lives of other young people around the world, and connect to them to each other.”
She continued:
“I hope it will help children find the information and tools they need to make a difference on the issues that matter to them, drawing on the BBC World Service’s network of thousands of journalists and multiple language services around the world.”
