Social media , while used to connect with friends, has become a way to expose things all over the world. From people to companies , many use social media to expose things that are “unfair” or “unjust” in the world .
Many times, it allows people to open up their eyes and see that life is a lot more complicated than they might have thought.

For example, Starbucks workers know better than anyone how demanding a job can be.
Not only are their drinks incredibly complicated, but sometimes customers come in demanding over-the-top items as part of a viral TikTok trend.
You can imagine how annoying that might be.
In fact, one worker wanted to quit after that very thing happened to him.
She goes by Josie on Twitter, and she shared a photo of a recent Starbucks order she received from a customer with the following
“On today’s episode of why I want to quit my job.” she wrote.
And she’s not the only one dealing with that.
Another user who goes by Bianca shared what order comes in every other week for her.
I would definitely not want to be them, making these must be an absolute nightmare.
Another place that gets a bad reputation? Amazon.
There are a few terrible stories about what it’s like to work at the warehouse.
In fact, a recent TikTok video gave people insight to working for Amazon and how workers are treated.
The TikTok video, shared by @amazonassociatef1, showcases a worker packing boxes when a person’s voice comes on over the loudspeaker.
The voice is heard announcing to workers in the factory that it’s only 9:59—and not 10:00 when workers are allowed to clock out for a break.
The voice says if workers are on their way to break, they will get “TOT.”
TOT, also known as Time Off Task, means that workers will be deducted the time from their schedule and it will be unpaid, as they were “supposed to be on task at that time.”
The Amazon boss says, “as they speak,” the employees will be getting “TOT.”
People online were shocked and appalled to see that this is how people at Amazon treats their employees.
Many people on TikTok were surprised to see that a huge company like Amazon treats employees this way.
Many said that Amazon is “worse than school teachers,” comparing it to the age-old “the bell doesn’t dismiss you, I do” mantra.
Others shared that companies that care about employees generally do better.
Others online pointed out that companies and workplaces that allow employees longer breaks and better working conditions not only have happier workers, but they also have a more productive and successful business overall.
The account has a lot of other videos that show what the working conditions are like in the warehouse.
In one video, they also showed just how fast they had to pack an item into the package.
Needless to say, working for Amazon doesn’t seem like a picnic.
