Alrighty, people of earth. Oh, did you expect me to say ” Frozen fans”? Well, I did, technically, since everyone on the planet has seen the movie.
Or, in the very least, they have heard “Let it Go”.
‘Frozen’ fans! Let’s get ready to rumble!

Here we are, inches away from a sequel to one of the best Disney movies in a while, and personally, I can’t stop thinking about it.
That’s why I’ve been searching every frame of the trailer for answers, and I’m here to pass the knowledge on to you.
At the beginning of the first movie, we see that Arendelle castle is sporting these green tops to their columns.

Just as a medieval castle set in a fantasy world should.
At the end of the first movie, however, Elsa transforms it into this beautiful icy topped castle, probably so it could fit her motif a little better.

At the beginning of the Frozen 2 trailer, we see the castle has remained the same.
This means that Elsa is still queen.

Not only that, but she is still in full control of her powers but that the people of her kingdom have come to accept and even love her, despite her differences.
Then we have the tale from the parents.

At the beginning of the trailer, Elsa and Anna’s father King Agnarr tells them a story about an enchanted forest way to the north of their kingdom.
In this story, we see a young blond-haired boy in Arendelle colors.
We also see a young girl floating around in the next shot.

These two kids were also shown in an earlier trailer, where the boy was floating and the girl was watching.
First, it’s hard not to see the comparison between these two kids and King Agnarr and Queen Iduna.

Perhaps we’re going to get an origin story of their love here?
Going based off that, could this mean that Iduna was from the enchanted forest?

Maybe this is where Elsa got her powers?
Maybe Iduna was an airbender and Elsa is… a waterbender, but only with ice?
Further evidence of this comes from the first movie.

The leader troll asks Agnarr “born with the powers or cursed” and he replies “born”.
Perhaps the magic is passed down from the mother? If so, why didn’t Anna get any magical abilities?
In both teasers, we get a shot where both sisters are surrounded by a bunch of blue, icy diamonds floating all around them.

Elsa creates them while standing at the edge of a rock.
At first, we could just go ahead and assume it was a moment of passion during a song sequence or something.

Then, we saw that the diamonds match the inscriptions on these strange stones…
Whoop de doo, what does it all mean?

Well, it at least gives us one of the central themes for the movie.
We can assume, with all this mystery, that this movie is going to answer the question: “where did Elsa’s powers come from?”
The Lizard!

Might just be grasping at straws here, but this lizard in the trailer further strengthens the potential familial bond between Elsa and Rapunzel.
They both like hanging out with cute lizards. They have to be cousins.
Here’s the trailer.
And honestly, I desperately need some help discovering new hidden details about this movie. In the very least, I need to give my bloodshot eyes a chance to rest.
At least for a couple of minutes.
