It’s been a long four years for President Trump, but it’s been arguably a longer four years for Alec Baldwin. The actor has been portraying the president on Saturday Night Live since 2016 and now, he’s officially out of a job.
However, don’t feel too bad for the actor — he’s literally thrilled to lose his job!
Alec Baldwin has been gracing fans’ TV screens since 2016 with his SPOT ON impression of President Trump.
It’s gotten to the point where some people can’t even remember what Alec looks like without the wig.
Now, Alec is bidding farewell to his impression with the election of Joe Biden this past weekend.
It’s truly the end of an era in many ways.
Taking to Twitter, Alec let fans know he’s not bummed at all!
“So, so, so much joy here,” he concluded.

Fans took to social media to pay homage to Alec’s iconic impression.
