Aaron Carter has announced that he and his girlfriend of three months, Melanie Martin, are expecting their first child together.
Aaron and Melanie have had a rollercoaster relationship since it began back in January.
For those wondering, Melanie is a 27-year-old Instagram model with nearly 170,000 followers.

The couple traveled to Europe together in February, posting lots of photos on their social media accounts.
Melanie often referred to Aaron as “zaddy” in her Instagram captions.
Foreshadowing much?!
That same month, Aaron took to his Instagram to express his love for Melanie.
“Were [sic] still learning so much about each other, what our boundaries are, hers and mine. Notice HER comes first always put your woman first before your own selfish needs. That’s what my daddy always taught me. Do right by your woman happy wife happy life,” he wrote .
“I’ve never met a woman more invested into me than you my darling @missmelaniemartin you’ve shown me a love that I never thought existed. From my boundaries I have for myself that our met and knowing she actually DOES something about it,” he continued.
“You all can talk all the [expletive] you want and call me names and slander me. But we all know what it is. I just want to move forward in the best way possible.”
Just two months after making their relationship official, Aaron got Melanie’s name tattoo’d above his eye.
The shocking reveal sent many of Aaron’s fans into a frenzy.
However, things for the couple took a turn at the end of March, when Melanie was arrested for domestic violence.
However, Aaron told People the March 29th charges have been dropped and insisted, “We just realized that we love each other.”
The couple’s pregnancy announcement came on Tuesday as Aaron held up a positive pregnancy test on his Instagram live.
“Obviously I have a baby on the way. I’m going to be a busy father, for sure,” he remarked .
“This is the official announcement, we’re pregnant,” Aaron added.
The 32-year-old then asked for donations from his fans.
When some viewers expressed their concern about his future parenting skills, Aaron wasn’t having it.
“I won’t need a babysitter. I’m going to make a very good father. I’m all about love, give that baby nothing but love.”
Aaron posted a shirtless selfie with the caption “Dad bod” shortly after the announcement.
Of course, nothing about Aaron’s abs screamed “dad bod” to anyone.
