PSA: Paul Rudd can rip an apple completely in half using only his bare hands and there is a video to prove it.
Prepare for your mind to be blown.
We’ve been seeing a lot of Paul Rudd lately.
Since the release of his new Netflix series, Living With Yourself , his face has been all over the internet.
BTW, if you haven’t seen “Living With Yourself” yet, I highly recommend checking it out ASAP.

It’s about a man, played by Paul Rudd, who’s down on his luck, and decides to undergo an experiment to improve himself, only to discover that he’s been cloned and is now stuck living alongside his 2.0 version.
Compelling AF, I know.
Anyway, with all the buzz surrounding the release of “Living With Yourself”, there have been a ton of press interviews with Paul Rudd circulating the web.
Honestly, the more Paul Rudd content there is online, the better.
Like the time he promoted “Living With Yourself” by just straight up asking people to watch it.

This is a really interesting approach to marketing.
Instead of finding a sneaky, roundabout way to trick people into watching it, he simply made a video asking people to watch it.
And it worked.
“Here’s what I’m gonna say,” he began. “It’s easy to watch.”

“It’s short — thank god — it is not a big commitment, you can do it in a night.”
“For god sakes, I’m not telling you to start “Game Of Thrones”,” he went on.

“But Living With Yourself ? You can watch that whole show just on the way to the fridge.”
I’ve never seen a more convincing ad in my life.
And of course, who hasn’t seen this clip of Paul saying “look at us”?
This is optimal meme material, right here. He really set himself up for this one.
Anyway, just when we thought he couldn’t get any funnier or more talented, a video surfaced of him ripping an apple in half using nothing but his bare hands.
It’s really something to behold.
As part of the promo videos we’ve been paraded with over the last couple of weeks, one of them features Paul alongside his “Living With Yourself” co-star, Aisling Bea.

Aisling plays Paul’s wife in the series, btw.
The clip starts out with the pair fondly on the first time they met each other.

“Paul, do you remember our very first meeting? And the odd thing you did when I was leaving the room?,” Aisling asked.
“Tell you how I didn’t think it went very well?,” he joked in response.

The pair laughed before Aisling clarified, that the “odd” thing Paul did, was split an apple in half with his hands like it was a banana.
“The other thing you did was half an apple straight in front of me, which would slowly become a metaphor for the show,” she said.

“I want you to do it now,” she added, handing Paul a Granny Smith.
At first, Paul struggled to get a solid grip on the apple.

“This [expletive] is a tight one,” he said just fractions of a second before crisply splitting the apple in half like it was nothing.
“Oh my God, do you see?!,” Aisling exclaimed. “Cheers, I’ve really enjoyed working with you!,” she said, biting down on one half of the apple.

To which Paul replied: “Thank you. You know what? You’re the other half of my Granny Smith!”

I’m more convinced than ever that Paul Rudd is not a real human.
Not only does he not age whatsoever, but he also has super-strength, apparently.
