Oh start to rejoice, Lilo and Stitch fans, because now your favorite Disney movie is going to get the live-action treatment.
Aladdin , Beauty and The Beast , Lion King , Jungle Book and Sleeping Beauty fans already got this lovely handling, so now it’s your turn!
Hey! I said to start rejoicing!
We’ve been waiting since October 2018 for an update on the “Lilo & Stitch” movie.
That’s when it was announced at least, and since then we’ve been patiently waiting for something.
Anything that would bring some more hype to the project.
And now we’ve got some news!

The Disinsider has recently reported that they have made the decision to start filming the actual movie. Or in Disney’s words:
“Production on the live-action/CGI hybrid is set to begin filming this Fall in Hawaii.”
We don’t know much else, besides the fact that Chris Sanders (the original voice of Stitch) will be reprising his role as the little blue alien.

Besides that, it is right now impossible to tell what else the movie will hold for us.
At least for the time being we get to do some speculating!

Maybe we’ll get to see Jason Momoa play Nani! Wouldn’t that be fun? Or maybe Jumba Jookiba will be played by Taylor Wily!
The possibilities are endless!
