The best time to revive a television show is before you’ve even had a chance to miss it, in my opinion. If I had my way, all my favorite shows would just go on and on and on and never end, and if they did end, they’d come right back when I needed them most.
Criminal Minds is getting this treatment and I couldn’t be happier.
*Criminal Minds* is one of the best police procedurals pretty much ever.

The show followed a group of criminal profilers who work for the FBI in its Behavioral Analysis Unit, and while the crimes were cool, gross, and interesting, it was the members of the team itself that audiences fell in love with.
The show ran for 15 seasons and ended last year, but it looks like a revival is already happening, thanks to Paramount’s new streaming service, Paramount+.
“Of course, no one does crime procedurals like @CBS,” the Paramount+ Twitter account shared.

“#ParamountPlus will have a huge library of fan-favorites, including all 15 seasons of @CrimMinds_CBS,” the tweet continued, adding, “Plus a new scripted #CriminalMinds series.”
While the tweet didn’t add much, “the team is coming back together to investigate a single case over 10 episodes,” Deadline reported.
Paramount+ also revealed “a new true crime series, *The Real Criminal Minds.*”
Fans are obviously pretty excited about this development, although many of them are hoping that the entire original cast lineup for the show might return for the new series.
For me, as long as Spencer Reid is there, I’m happy!
