It’s not uncommon for the son or daughter of a celebrity to follow in their famous parent’s footsteps and work in the entertainment industry. While most of these young actors co-exist with their parents in the acting world, it’s super rare for both of their career paths to cross.
But when they do, it’s truly something special.

1. Tom Hanks and Colin Hanks in Great Buck Howard
This 2008 film featuring the beloved Hanks boys was a critical hit when it was first released in theaters. Their on-screen chemistry was top-notch. Let’s hope these two get to work together again real soon!
2. Will Smith and Jaden Smith in The Pursuit of Happyness
This powerful movie from 2006 tugged at the heartstrings of moviegoers everywhere. Honestly, we doubt the film would’ve had as much depth had the casting department gone in a different direction. Good thing they didn’t!

It’d be hard to find a tougher Hollywood dad than Clint Eastwood, but even he’s got a soft spot for his kids. Here he is starring with his young son, Kyle, in Honkytonk Man . I’m sure they both look back on this experience with fond memories.
8. Demi Moore and Rumer Willis in Striptease
While this isn’t the most suitable movie to feature your child in, at least it wasn’t during any inappropriate scenes. That said, it must’ve been a blast hanging out on set with your family all day long.

The great Meryl Streep was able to star alongside her daughter in 2015 when the fan-favorite, Ricki & The Flash hit theaters. Their work on-screen appeared to be completely effortless. Way to make it look easy, you two!
