Chrissy Teigen is the long-standing queen of sass. She sounds off on anyone or anything that she wants to, whether the subject is the President of the United States or her own husband. Nobody can come for her title.
Except, maybe, her own daughter.
This is Luna, Chrissy’s three year old daughter with John Legend.

She’s potentially the cutest baby in the entire world. It’s not confirmed yet, but I’ve sent the data off to the scientists, and they’ve promised to look into the matter for me.
Fans adored her career goals at the start of her second year of preschool.

They especially loved that she wrote that when she grew up, she wanted to be “a painter and do nails.” I like the extra description behind her loving to “swim like a mermaid.”
Now little Luna is making waves again, but not for her adorableness.

Okay, partially for her adorableness, but this time in combination with her sassing abilities. This week, Chrissy was evidently one minute late picking Luna up from preschool, and she was not having it.
Teigen told the story on her Twitter.

“I was 1 minute late picking luna up from school,” Teigen tweeted. “She was all sweet in her classroom then as soon as we were alone, I buckled her in she said ‘so why? why were you late?’”
This is obviously a relatable attitude for moms everywhere.
This Twitter user had the perfect response ready, but I doubt it got to Chrissy in time for her to use it.
Other moms shared their own experiences with picking up sassy kids from school.
One parent wrote , “My child refused to tell the teacher I was his mom and because she wasn’t his actual teacher and didnt know me. I had to walk back to my car and get my ID.”
Of course, most responses had one question in mind.
These people think Luna had the right idea — and they, too, were curious as to why Chrissy could have possibly been one minute late to pick her up.
The answer is pretty simple: there was an unexpected road that was blocked off.
“This is why I was late WHO IS THIS I can’t live without knowing,” she tweeted with a video of the lane, which was empty aside from a couple police vehicles and a few black cars with tinted windows.
