Actress Sarah Hyland, best known for her role as Haley on Modern Family , has been upfront about her myriad of health concerns during her stardom. She just recently took to Instagram to document a trip to the ER.
Sarah has had 16 surgeries at the age of 28.
She’s revealed that she’s had two kidney transplants, laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis, and surgery to correct an abdominal hernia.

Her kidney transplant has left her with a visible bump of where the second kidney was placed over top of her original one.
Sarah has also been extremely honest about her “Kidney Upper [Expletive] Area” or KUPA and how it has effected her self confidence and self image in the past.
This week she took to Instagram to document an emergency hospital visit.
While she hasn’t yet revealed what caused her visit to the ER, Sarah shared herself using some Instagram face filters while in a hospital bed with some form of wiring attached to her.
“ER but make it fashion,” she captioned the shots.
It’s nice to see that she had some fun while in what was likely a scary situation.
She also wasn’t there alone. When she turned the camera around, she revealed that her fiance and The Bachelor alum Wells Adams was right there with her.
“You look like an Instagram model,” she said to him when she turned the filter on him.
Wells disagreed and said he looked more like he’d been punched in the face.
Sarah has already announced that she is back home, and we’re wishing her happiness and good health in the future!
