It’s always exciting when a new royal baby is born. And no, I’m not talking about Meghan and Harry’s sweet angel babe Archie, I’m talking about Hollywood royalty, sweetie. I’m talking about Mr. and Mrs. West’s brand new baby son, Psalm.
Kim announced the name of their son via Twitter a few days ago.

I love seeing how many unanswered texts Kimmy has.
Some people were baffled by the tone of Kanye’s text.
Other people said Kanye types like an old person on Facebook, which is kinda true. Sorry, Ye, but you might not be hip with the kids anymore.
If you’ve *been* keeping up, you’ll know Kanye has started hosting a “Sunday Service” where he gathers dozens of people for worship every week.
He even did it at Coachella! Therefore, the biblical name of “Psalm” makes sense as a baby name choice. Psalm is the Hebrew word for hymn or song, and also the name of a book in the Old Testament in the Bible.

Psalm might be a tough name for a kid to grow up with, but there were worse biblical books to be named after. Can you imagine, “Pass the ball over here, Leviticus!” or “Did you get your homework done, Lamentations?”
There is truly no denying that Kim and Kanye have some very unique baby names.
But they’re celebrities so that’s like their job. What are they supposed to do?? Give their kids NORMAL NAMES??
Maybe it’s just a little nickname.
I don’t know if Psalmuel West has a better ring to it, but it’s definitely eye-catching. I’d be okay with it.
