Do you have a collection ? Or maybe you had one when you were younger? As a kid, I collected feathers, my brother had a keychain collection that he later passed onto me (no idea where it is now, sorry bro), and I even had a friend with a huge Smurfs collection.
No matter your age, having a certain thing you’re so dedicated to obtaining is not only a fun hobby, but it creates something unique about you! This list shows a series of very specific and uncommon collections that’ll prove there’s a niche for everybody.
“I have been keeping a collection of the tiny balls in pen ink cartridges since middle school.”

I didn’t even know you could get these out of there so color me impressed. I can only imagine how annoying it is keeping up that count too, that’s some real dedication.
“This microwave cookbook collection.”

Oh wow, there’s a whole series of these huh? I love my microwave and consume many a microwave meal, but I still have a lot of doubt regarding how good these recipes are.
“My completely obsolete DVD collection.”

In the age of digital streaming and people realizing how quickly your favorite movie or show can be swapped to another platform, physical ownership is becoming more important than ever! Never get rid of this!
“I turn 20 tomorrow. Here’s a collection of all the birthday cards I’ve kept from over the years.”

This is a really beautiful collection actually, being able to go back and read all the well wishes people have given you over the years, it’d no doubt cause a few tears!
“My sister is collecting banana stickers.”

Someone in the comments pointed out just how strange it is that companies advertise on bananas of all things, which I never really considered until staring at this board and realizing just how much they do it. I guess it works?
“My Mum’s collection of corporate match stick boxes.”

“Apparently these used to be handed out when smoking was allowed indoors,” the uploaded added, and it makes sense. People smoked way more back then, which means they’d be seeing the brand a lot throughout their day!
“My aunt has a spoon collection that has a tiny spoon collection right above it.”

I was going to make a comment about how most people ages 23+ know of an older family member who had or has a spoon collection just like this, but your aunt improved it by adding the tinier collection so she wins.
“My collection of vintage Bounty Paper Towels.”

Talk about brand loyalty! It’s neat to have a company’s design history always at your fingertips, shows you just how far they’ve come. The random Charmin package is throwing me off, though.
“Every $1 bill I’ve collected from tips over 2 years (roughly 1600).”

Now this is a good collection. Some people collect things that they think will bring in money later, like Beanie Babies in the past and Funko Pops in the present, but this is the only collections where that’s a guarantee.
“A collection of keys I’ve found while metal detecting.”

What else is there to do with them but wander around the city and try unlocking random doors? Sure, 99.9% of the time it won’t work, but that 0.01% it does will be magical (and potentially illegal).
“My copy editor father’s collection of worn down pencils.”

Not only that, but he has them all organized by type? He’s letting his pride be known, which he should, as having even one pencil that’s completely worn down is a feat all on its own.
“My collection of cool stuff I’ve acquired since Covid started.”

All it takes to fill a shelf with cool stuff is two years and a desire to go digging? Count me in! I have a shovel and live by a river, I can get started right now. I might need a shelf first.
“My collection of Grateful Dead cassettes.”

I almost didn’t spot it thanks to the picture’s orientation and the admittedly very loud couch, but as soon as I realized what I was looking at, I was blown away. Are these all unique? Can one band even make that many cassettes?
“My color-coordinated Hotwheels collection.”

To color-coordinate a collection must be the most satisfying thing there is. All picked out and arranged by your hand, to create the most perfect of gradients. Pure joy.
“My dad’s salt and pepper shaker collection.”

I appreciate that these are mostly different glass shapes rather than the ceramic novelty ones you’d expect. Not that those are bad! It’s just nice to see some appreciation for glasswork.
“Introducing my bottle opener collection.”

Speaking of novelty collections, this one is stellar! I can’t stop looking at the skeleton one, but the pretzel has me intrigued, and the shark head is pretty funny.
“My Micro-Gadget Collection.”

This is a really neat concept. A ‘micro-gadget’ is sort of self-defined, so your collection is really shaped to your tastes. Not to mention you scored all of these in a near-identical shade of green which is amazing.
“The Airbnb that I’m staying in has a collection of rubber ducks in the bathroom wall.”

Cute collection, but a little discomforting to see in an Airbnb perhaps. Or maybe I’m just being put off by what looks like these concrete shelves somehow fastened to the tile wall.
“My grandma’s collection of 544 different cookie cutters that she has been expanding for 50+ years”

Your grandma is locked and loaded, ready for any celebration or themed event that might come her way. Birthdays? Check. Holidays? All of ’em. A bake shop fundraiser to help save endangered elephants? You know it.
“My little collection of Weekly World News.”

Tabloids aren’t ‘good’ for journalism and the spreading of false information is always bad, but you have to admit, some of these are pretty dang cool. Loving the smoke cloud with the devil in it.
