There’s a lot of debate over which Friends episode is the best — the first one? The last one? My personal favorite has to be the one where Phoebe and Chandler almost make out in an attempt to sniff out the truth of Chandler and Monica’s relationship.
I always wondered what the cast’s favorite episode was, and all of six of them have revealed theirs!
Lisa Kudrow revealed that she loves ‘The One With The Halloween Party.’
Lisa told a curious fan on Reddit who asked what her favorite episode is, “The Halloween party that Sean Penn appeared in. For a lot of reasons. No. 1 was that it was the first show we shot after 9/11. And that whole week, while driving in L.A., people would pull up, and give me a very sad look and a quiet ‘thank you’ for making them laugh.”
Matthew Perry’s favorite is ‘The One With Ross’ New Girlfriend.’
On Good Morning America , Matthew Perry revealed that this episode has one of his favorite moments — after Joey gets himself confused about how old he was in 1990, Chandler responds that “You have to stop the Q-Tip when there’s resistance.”
Courteney Cox loves ‘The One With The Blackout’ from the first season.
Courteney said during the 2016 reunion special that “The One With The Blackout” was her favorite because “I loved that. I loved the cat on [Ross’] back,” outside the window as the remaining cast sings happily inside.
This is one of my favorite’s too — I love Chandler being trapped in the vestibule!
Matt LeBlanc had a very sentimental answer.
When Glamour magazine asked him his favorite episode, Matt replied, “‘The Last One’ because of the sentimental value. That was a rough week. That was really tough knowing that that was coming to an end. The greatest gig ever. That was really rough.”
David Schwimmer says ‘The One With The Holiday Armadillo’ is important to him.
David told Glamour that ‘The One With The Holiday Armadillo’ was his favorite episode. “I mean, it was really fun,” he said. “I hope to one day show my daughter that episode.”
