Weddings can be an incredibly stressful and time-consuming thing to plan. And, while they’re meant to be one of the happiest days of your life, they can also bring out the worst in some people.
So, in order to show off some of the most shocking brides on the internet, here are 30 bridezillas whose entitlement is showing.
“Bride cancels her wedding because her guests didn’t ‘donate’ $1,500 each to fund the event.”
Ah, well if it was for a “dream” then I guess that justifies being a solid-gold prat then.
“Bride Uninvites Guest For Not Producing Free Centrepieces.”
Twenty centrepieces hand-made out of wood is no mean feat, and to do it in a week is insane!
“Pay For My Historic Wedding, Y’all!”
So they managed to get a location for free and now they want the rest of the wedding free as well? That’s a big ask!
“Bride Demands 30k…”
There is a lot of awfulness going on here, but the fact that anyone would spend $1500-$2000 on a bottle of Barefoot wine is outrageous.
“I’ve officially dropped out of the bridal party. I’m a size 12 with no plans on dropping to a size 8 by December.”
When someone else asked how the bride took them dropping out, this person replied, “She was ‘hurt’ but said she figured I wouldn’t be able to drop the weight since I recently gave birth and still [expected me] to donate to her honeymoon.”
She’s got Her Eye On You!
I think that I would be quite happy with being taken off the guest list at that point.
“Let’s prepare for divorce then!”
One other shocked individual pointed out, “I’ve never heard of the wedding photographer being the one who needs the prenup, but here we are.”
They Wanted It For How Much?
“Take it or leave it” is one hell of a ballsy bartering strategy when you’ve not got a leg to stand on.
Only In It For The Gift…
I love how the person sending these unbelievable texts thinks that adding emojis makes the whole thing okay.
“Hey, I know that I’ve given my wedding no thought but I want you dedicate the next 48 hours of your life to it.”
Then why didn’t she go and ask one of these magical TV bakers instead?

The fact that a human being could in any way think that this kind of insane behaviour is acceptable is beyond me.
“Anon doesn’t want to drive a free BMW or Tesla to his wedding.”
Okay so it’s not a bride, but I couldn’t resist getting one groomzilla in there at least!

Making sure you’re in control of the numbers is clever, but this just comes off as arrogant. It’s a fine line.
A Letter From Someone Who Had Stolen From Them…
“I received this hand written letter from the maid of honor two days after I sent the bride and groom (an ex-employee who was stealing from my retail store) a decline response to their backyard wedding,” explained the person who posted this.

The best suggestion as to how to deal with this one was to just send over a list of your measurements and enquire as to when the clothes will be ready. Play the ignorance card.

I hope that this person did send this to the groom, as I’d want to know if I was marrying this sort of person.

Good to know that they are accepting money…not that I would be sending any after receiving this card.

This one is hard to read. How amazingly insensitive do you have to be to feel like this, let alone to post it online?
“Venmo a random girl money because she’s getting married! Spotted in Denver.”
I cannot count the amount of times that I have seen someone asking for me to Venmo them money on the freeway and I’ve pulled over to do it right there and then!
“Bride wants my photographer friend to learn another photographer’s ‘style’ AND basically give her a discount for a wedding that’s in a couple of weeks.”
The audacity in the line, “[It’s] sweet you think someone who is planning a wedding would have time for a phone call,” is outrageous.

The best response to this one was, “The only different thing anyone should be getting is her bf getting a different gf.” And they’re not wrong!
“My free photographer is so much more important than my sister’s well-being and happiness!”
Someone who had a similar experience added:
“Back in 2018, I was that sister breaking up with the guy who was going to photograph my sister’s wedding (it was going to be our gift). I was hesitating specifically because I didn’t want to cause my sister grief, but she was the one who told me not to stay with someone just for her sake. I could not imagine her ever acting like this.”
Just The Worst…
Yeah this person can go to hell, what kind of person talks about a “friend” like that?
“Kindly refrain from upstaging the bride on her big day — oh, and no admission without a gift of $75 or more.”
The best suggestion as to how to deal with this one was to do only half of your face in full makeup.
“Some people can’t afford it!”
I just cannot ever imagine demanding a gift of a specific price range from anyone…or demanding a gift at any price for that matter!

So were they hoping that the guests would essentially reimburse them the price of their wedding through gifts?
