Landing a TV show is no guarantee that you’ll finish out the series.

The actor and mixed martial artist portrayed Cara Dune on The Mandalorian .
She was fired recently due to an offensive social post that implied that being a Republican today is like being Jewish during the Holocaust.
2. Columbus Short – *Scandal*
Not even Olivia Pope could have fixed this scandal.
The actor was fired from the ABC series for a series of assault claims. This included allegedly knocking a man out during an altercation at an LA restaurant.
He had also been given a restaining order from his now-ex-wife due to claims that he reportedly threatened her life.
“I was struggling with drugs,” he later told Access Hollywood about the issues, adding that he was self-medicating.
3. Brett Butler – *Grace Under Fire*
The actress starred on the show for five years. Unfortunately, she was also struggling with a drug addiction during this time.
When her erratic behavior started impacting the show, ABC decided to fire Butler . Soon after, they cancel the series completely.
4. Nicolette Sheridan – *Desperate Housewives*
She played the character, Edie, on the show for five years before she was fired due to budget reasons .
But since she believed her termination was personal, she actually ended up suing ABC for wrongful termination.
5. Isaiah Washington – *Greys Anatomy*
The actor got on Shonda Rhimes bad side when he made an anti-gay slur when referring to his gay co-star, T.R. Knight.
She ended up firing him. He proved that he hadn’t learned his lesson when he said the gay slur AGAIN at the Golden Globes.
6. Charlie Sheen – *Two and a Half Men*
When the actor spiraled his personal life many years ago (remember #Winning?) he took his career down with him.
This all started when he said disparaging things about the show’s creator, Chuck Lorre, in interviews.
This included threatening Chuck and calling him a whole slew of names, including a “maggot” and a “loser.”
In the end, he was fired from his lead role on the show replaced with Ashton Kutcher.
Lesson: don’t diss the boss!
7. Selma Blair – *Anger Management*
She played Charlie Sheen’s love interest on the show for two seasons before she was fired. This was because she complained about Sheen’s work ethic .
This included saying that the cast and crew had to wait around while Charlie was in his trailer learning his lines.
In the end, it was Sheen who fired the actress.
He reportedly did so with a text that had one single word, calling her the c-word.
She ended up threatening to sue Sheen and the production company for $1.2 million in lost wages.
8. Kevin Spacey – *House of Cards*
The actor was one of the men called out in Hollywood for sexual assault during the #MeToo movement.
This resulted in Netflix cutting all ties with the actor. He lost House of Cards and a film in production.
9. Danny Masterson – *The Ranch*
Similar to Kevin Spacey, the actor was fired from his Netflix show amid sexual assault allegations during the #MeToo movement.
The scandal escalated in 2020 when he was charged with raping three women in the early 2000s.
10. Taylor Momsen – *Gossip Girl*
In 2011, the actress was dismissed from the show for reportedly going into ” expletive-laced tirades ” against other actors.
When Project Runway host, Tim Gunn, guest-starred on the show, he, too was baffled by her behavior.
“What a diva,” he told *E! News* at the time.
“She was pathetic, she couldn’t remember her lines, and she didn’t even have that many. I thought to myself, ‘Why are we being held hostage by this brat?'” Yikes!
11. Roseanne Barr – *Roseanne*
When the actress posted a racist tweet about Valerie Jarrett, Barack Obama’s former White House advisor, she got the entire reboot canceled .
Her now-deleted insensitive tweet had said: “muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby = vj.”
12. Shannen Doherty – *90210*
The actress has been branded as “difficult” to work with due to her not being able to get along with co-stars on both 90210 and Charmed .
One time, she even got close to a physical fight with Jennie Garth!
“There were times when we loved each other and there were times when we wanted to claw each other’s eyes out,” Garth wrote in her memoir.
Their fighting ended up being the final straw for Doherty’s future on the show.
Tori Spelling did so by calling her dad, the creator and producer of the series.
Then when it came to *Charmed*, her beef with Alyssa Milano is even why she was reportedly fired after season 3.
“I can tell you that we were on the air with her for three years and there were definitely some rough days,” Milano told Andy Cohen .
