There are some TV relationships that you can just TELL work because the actors really get along in real life. I know acting is kind of the whole point of being an actor, but there’s some chemistry and feelings that you just can’t fake!
Sheldon and Amy from The Big Bang Theory are definitely one of those couples, and now I have the proof!

Obviously, a huge appeal of the show was the charming and lovable characters.
Sheldon Cooper would definitely be the breakout star.
Watching the awkward but charming Sheldon, played by Jim Parsons, learn to open up to and eventually fall in love with the equally awkward and adorable Amy Farrah-Fowler, played by Mayim Bialik, was one of the highlights of the entire show.
In a new interview, Mayim explained just why she and Jim Parsons worked so well together.
“Jim and I had a lot of nice moments together on set and I think one of the things that worked so well for us as actor partners, and maybe as producing partners too, is that we’re not overly sentimental as humans, which I think is helpful,” Mayim told Us Weekly .
Somehow, the fact that these two aren’t overly sentimental isn’t surprising!
“It was helpful in our acting and also in the way we kind of processed ending a decade together,” Mayim said.
“They had 13 years, the cast, that they had been working together,” Mayim went on. “So we were not an overly sentimental couple, but obviously it was very emotional filming our last scene.”
Mayim explained that the last time filming together was the one exception.
“Very, very emotional,” Mayim said, “and also just to think of what that played out like for everybody to get to see us having our last scene.”
