When the day is early and we’ve just rolled out of bed, yet to have our morning coffee or tea or whatever we start our days with, sometimes we tend to get more confused than we should over simple things.
However, once we’ve let ourselves wake up fully, our minds alert and ready for the day, we return to what confused us and still find them baffling. That’s what the images in this list are, pics so puzzling we’re scratching our heads at them!
“I snapped a photo of my dog through a window screen that looks like an old painting.”
He looks like he knows it too, look at the confidence in his pose! He’s got that alert, pointed gaze, strong legs, ears upwards, he looks regal as all hell right now and is relishing in it.
You should frame this and tell people it’s a custom painting, he deserves the spotlight!
“Twice the fun with none of the mess!”
But also twice the stubbornness. Can you imagine if they both want to go somewhere different? Neither one would budge! Not to mention you’d get twice the yowling at dinner time, but I suppose that’d also be true if you had two separated cats.
“This fox lying on leaves.”
I promise you, there is a fox in there. It took me a long time to spot, but it is in there. I wouldn’t just include a photo of leaves with no fox in it, that would be lying! And lying is bad.
(Hint: follow the tree shadows.)
“I found a small door at my gym.”
Santa’s elves need something to do in the off-season. Making toys is a lot of hard work, and if they don’t stay on top of their physical health, they’ll find the return to the office pretty difficult come December.
“This guy at a Starbucks reading the paper… from 1963.”
Jumped from the early ’60s to now, not caught up on the news but still able to order himself something at Starbucks. He wanted to be fully immersed in the modern age before he caught up on all the events he missed.
“This coupon that expires in year 2487.”
I admire the optimistic view this company has, assuming they’ll still be up and running in 466 years. But if they are, and you’ve been passing this coupon down for dozens of generations, they’ll be able to get their free fries.
“This ethyl alcohol bottle looks like water bottle.”
Oh good, this is a design choice that can only go well… All it takes is one dehydrated person who doesn’t read the label well enough and someone’s calling poison control.
On the bright side, their mouth will be extremely sanitary!

The knowledge that frost-on-windshield season is approaching does make me sad, but knowing it can be so pretty kind of makes up for it! Sure, I’ll spend my morning scraping the ice off my car, but it’ll be beautiful as I do so.

Frost looks like mountains, mountains look like water, is there anything out there that looks how it’s supposed to lately! For example, I’m meant to be living in a woodland cottage right now, but it still looks like I’m living in a metropolitan apartment! So strange!

Ah, I somehow always knew that this was how death would come for me, outside of a woman’s clothing store in the dead of night. Don’t ask me how I knew that, I just did, and I was right!
“My cat looks like she’s 6 feet tall.”
She looks like, no matter what her size is, she still has 6 feet worth of attitude in her. She truly can’t believe you’re making a mockery of her right now, she’ll remember this transgression next time you ask her to get off the counter.
“Car [on] a rooftop.”
Yep, wow. That sure is what it is. Car on a rooftop. No information about how it got there, if it got down, or where even this is. Just the pure existence of a car on a rooftop. That is all.
“Guy riding down the road holding a dresser on top of a car on a 50 MPH road.”
No dresser is worth this. No piece of furniture at all is worth this. Whatever you paid for this, spend an extra $20 to rent a pickup truck to get it home. Why would you even think to do this? My head hurts now.
“The way these stones look elevated after sand being washed away by the rain.”
Take a more distant shot, and it could look like a cityscape for some sci-fi movie that takes place on a futuristic desert planet. Who needs to spend all that time drawing buildings when you can use what Mother Nature provides!
“This rentable electric scooter has Braille instructions?”
This one actually does have an explanation! The braille isn’t there for people who are riding the scooters, it’s for people who trip over them. It contains instructions for how to report obstacles, to help prevent jerks from just leaving them in the middle of the street.
“Just a sleeping man dog.”
It’s usually not very nice to take photos of people while they’re sleeping, but taking photos of sleeping pets is extremely common. Where does this instance fall? Is this a pet photo or a person photo?
“This is the key for my bedroom at the Airbnb I’m staying at.”
Is your Airbnb an old home on a creepy street that seemingly no one else lives on? Did the listing promise over and over that this place isn’t haunted, they swear it isn’t haunted, there hasn’t been a ghost sighting in decades? Just curious.
“Floating Chairs.”
They’ve had enough of seating people, they want to go and find their true purpose in life! If they keep inching upwards, no matter how slowly, they’ll eventually ascend and become in touch with a higher power that will rescue them from their life of servitude!
