It looks like gender reveal parties aren’t going anywhere soon.

Expecting parents seem to just love throwing these parties and coming up with new ways of telling people if they’re having a boy or girl.

This new manicure trend might be the most extra gender reveal trend yet.

These gender-reveal nails are definitely a step above your average cake.

If there’s one thing expecting parents love, it’s throwing gender reveal parties.

Some opt for the colored smoke option. It’s dramatic, that’s for sure. I can’t be the only one who has no idea where you find these smoke bombs, right?

There’s also the classic balloon popping.

Confession: I HATE the sound of a balloon popping, so I wouldn’t opt for this idea, personally. If you want to announce the baby’s gender with a bang, then this is for you.

And of course, the trend that started it all: cakes.

Now that I’ve seen some of the other options, I think a cake is the way to go. It’s delicious and seems to be the safest option.

People will never stop coming up with ways to announce their baby’s gender.

I shouldn’t be such a party pooper. After all, I had two gender reveal cakes for my son. Yes, two! What can I say? It’s kind of addictive and everyone loves a surprise.

However, I have never seen a gender reveal like this.

Everyone gathered ’round while they lit the special cake-shaped decal. They actually lit it on fire, people!

Her face says it all.

Does she know that she is making history with this gender reveal? Honestly, this is what cousins are for. Someone give this woman an award.

It’s a… BOY!!

After a few sparks, blue smoke started coming out of the top of the cake. Even though I would never get this done myself, it was really entertaining to watch.
