The Tiger King world did just get a little crazier.

The star of the show Joe Exotic is currently serving over twenty years in prison.
Joe (of course) thinks he was wrongly convicted, and a fair number of people agree with him. Donald Trump Jr. is one of them, who joked that he would bring the issue up with his father.
A news reporter beat Donald Jr to it.
“One of the biggest rating hits of the coronavirus, aside from these briefings, has been a show on Netflix called Tiger King ” a reporter brought up at a White House press conference. “The man who’s the star of this is a former zoo owner who is serving a 22-year prison sentence. He’s asking you for a pardon, saying he was unfairly convicted.”
“I was wondering if you’ve seen the show and if you have any thoughts on pardoning Joe Exotic,” he asked.
Trump joked along with the clearly light-hearted question, asking the reporter, “Do you think he did do it? Are you on his side? Are you recommending a pardon?” after he expressed that he wasn’t familiar with the case.
“I don’t think you would,” Trump continued, “I’ll take a look.”
