Have you ever watched an entertainment show where celebrities are featured and thought, “I could never look like that?” I’m sure it’s happened to many of us. We often compare ourselves to stars and think that we can’t look as nice.
But a woman online is trying to change people’s minds by showing them that they too can look like stars, no matter what size they are, and I have to say it’s really refreshing to see. Check this story out.
Body acceptance advocate Katie Sturino is someone to look up to, that’s for sure.
She has been inspiring women everywhere to feel confident in their skin and celebrate their style. She even started a series she calls “Supersize The Look.” The idea of it is to recreate everyday celebrity styles that any person can do themselves.
How do you like that, eh?
I think it’s super cool. Katie is the perfect example that you don’t necessarily need a stylist to look like a million bucks. She makes it look easy. Check out this look here. Isn’t it glorious? She even nailed the shoes, hee-hee.

Off-the-shoulder top and voluminous khaki pants aren’t easy for everyone to pull off. Am I right? As someone who’s on the cusp of petite, this would be a challenge for me too. But in the end, as Katie says, “It’s never about who wore it better [because] that mindset keeps us down.” Amen, sister.

As I said, this lady is the perfect example of the fact that you don’t have to be a skinny mini to look great. On the contrary, she’s stylin’ in all these outfits anyway. You can dress as subtle or as daring as you wish. As long as it makes you feel good — go for it.
