Considering the fact that Avengers: Endgame was three hours long, we can’t really blame fans for missing some of these amazing easter eggs.

We got a throwback to ‘The First Avenger’.
When Tony gives Steve his shield back, you can hear a song playing.
It’s the theme from Captain America: The First Avenger . It’s a nice call back to Tony’s father giving Steve his shield all those years ago.
The location of New Asgard is Tonsberg.
Sound familiar? It’s the same village that was in The First Avenger .
That’s where the Tesseract had been hidden by Norse God worshippers before it was taken by the Red Skull.
Steve’s iconic quote was a reference to Secret Empire.
Steve muttering “Hail Hydra” served two purposes. Everyone in that elevator was a Hydra agent, so Steve said it to remain undercover.
But it was also a reference to the very controversial comic where Cap was a Hydra agent!
Pepper’s Iron Man armor actually has significance.
The purple and blue tints aren’t there just for fun.
It’s a reference to the Rescue armor that she wore in Iron Man: Animated Adventures series.
Tony’s first arc reactor made one last appearance.
At Tony’s funeral, Pepper put the original arc reactor in a bouquet.
It reads, “Proof that Tony Stark has a heart.” Yes, we’re still crying about it too.
Taika Waititi graced us with his pineapple presence.
We all know and love Korg, and we all know and love Taika Waititi. Taika does Korg’s voice, but he even lent his fashion expertise to the character.
Taika wore a Hawaiian shirt to SDCC, and Korg is seen wearing the same one in the film.
Unfortunately it was probably all stretched out when Taika got it back, so he had to buy another one.
The Stark that was promised.
In Infinity War Tony tells Pepper that he dreamt they had a child named Morgan.
That name actually has meaning! In some of Iron Man’s older comics, Morgan Stark was an older man related to Tony.
Cap is one of the few Marvel characters who can wield Mjolnir.
In the comics, Steve Rogers actually wields Mjolnir a few times. This scene was a direct call back to Age of Ultron where all the Avengers try to pick up the hammer.
None of them succeed, but Cap manages to make it wiggle a little.
He has used it in the comics for maximum damage against his enemies in order to protect the Earth.
Carol and Peter’s meeting was more than a set up for the female characters.
One of the best parts of the movie was definitely when all the women banded together to fight Thanos and his army.
But Carol and Peter actually have a history in the comics.
They dated! Of course, we won’t see that in the MCU, since Peter Parker’s still in high school, but it’s a nice call to the comics.
Cap’s shield was always going to break.
It’s a moment that comes right from a battle in the Infinity Gauntlet comic book.
Cap didn’t give up then, and he didn’t in the movie either.
His shield breaking also calls back to Tony’s nightmare from ‘Infinity War.’
Tony notices Cap’s shield is broken, and it’s actually broken in a similar pattern to the way it breaks in Endgame . Looks like Tony’s nightmare was a warning after all!
Joe Russo’s unexpected cameo.
He played a gay man! He spoke with Cap about the sadness he felt moving on in a dusted world during the support group meeting that Captain America was leading.
However, there was another cameo that fans missed.
It was Jim Starlin (far left), who actually created Thanos. It’s hard to feel bad for him in that support group knowing that it’s really all his fault, when you think about the big picture.
The Asgardians of the Galaxy is the future.
In case you were wondering, Thor getting on that ship at the end of the film is no mistake.

Kate Bishop is training to become the new Hawkeye.
Kate Bishop is next in line for the mantle, and she has already proven herself in the comics.
Chances are the Hawkeye Disney+ show will be focused on Kate learning to be a hero.
Clint sheds his Hawkeye costume and becomes Ronin.
This happens in the New Avengers comics, but he does it for very different reasons.
Now that Clint got his happy ending, who will take up the mantle of Hawkeye?
When Nat and Okoye were talking about the earthquake, die-hard fans knew what that meant.
Namor the Sub-Mariner will soon be making waves in the MCU.
Nothing is confirmed right now, but talks of a potential movie for the first mutant has been around for quite some time.
When The Avengers are preparing for their time travel excursion, their hands look like Tony’s arc reactor.
